Recall that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the case is being investigated under several relevant articles of the Criminal Code, including: Article 99 “Intentional Murder,” Article 293 “Hooliganism,” Article 115 “Threat,” as well as Articles 432 and 434 for concealment and failure to report a crime.
On October 4, a quarrel occurred in Talgar between several individuals, which escalated into a fight. Residents heard gunshots. As a result, two people were injured and taken to the hospital. One of them, 16-year-old Sherzat Bolat, died in intensive care.
On October 12, the home of the deceased's family was burned down. A canister and gloves were found at the scene of the fire. Initially, it was believed that 10 people were involved in the conflict, but later, another individual was detained.
Investigation has also begun into the leak of a video recording from the scene. Sherzat's relatives previously blocked the road, demanding a fair investigation. The father of the deceased recorded a video in which he urged people not to resort to bloodshed, assuring them that the police would handle it.
Later, the boy's father and the brother of Saltanat Nukenova, Aitbek Amangeldy, spoke together and responded to calls on the internet for protests.
