Youth Table Tennis World Championship: Kurmangaliev lost to his opponent from Germany.

Kazakh tennis player Alan Kurmangaliev has concluded his participation in the World Youth Table Tennis Championship taking place in Helsingborg, Sweden, as reported by Bizmedia.kz.

In a tense match during the Round of 16 in the singles category, he lost to German player Andre Bertelsmeier with a score of 1:4.

Alan, who is 17 years old, competed in the under-19 category, showcasing impressive results. In the previous round, the Round of 32, he achieved a hard-fought victory over Yulan Batiks from Cameroon with a score of 4:3.

In addition to singles, Kurmangaliev also participated in doubles events. In the men's doubles Round of 16, he and his partner Wassim Essid from Tunisia lost to the French duo Flavien Coton and Nathan Lam with a score of 1:3. In the mixed doubles Round of 32, his pair with Wong Hoi Tung from Hong Kong was defeated by the Swedes Isak Alfredsson and Agnes Svensson with a score of 2:3.

The young athlete demonstrated confident play and a strong desire to compete, marking him as one of Kazakhstan's promising players in table tennis.
