Ozodbek Nazarbekov has been awarded the title of "People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic."

“Our nations share centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, bilateral connections have reached a new level, with culture playing a pivotal role in strengthening this partnership,” noted Sadyr Japarov.

The President also recalled the Days of Kyrgyz Culture in Uzbekistan, which took place in Tashkent and Bukhara during his state visit. The event program included a gala concert, exhibitions, and film screenings dedicated to Kyrgyz-Uzbek friendship.

Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that the upcoming Days of Uzbek Culture in Kyrgyzstan in 2025 will be a significant step towards deepening mutual cultural ties.

The President congratulated Ozodbek Nazarbekov on being awarded the title of “People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic,” highlighting his substantial contribution to the development of cultural relations and the strengthening of friendship between the countries. “Your creative journey inspires many. The musical evening featuring your participation, scheduled for December 15 at the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic, will be a vivid example of our shared cultural harmony,” emphasized Sadyr Japarov.

The Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, expressed gratitude for the high appreciation of his work and underscored his commitment to strengthening brotherly relations between the two nations.

He noted that President Sadyr Japarov's visit to Uzbekistan marked an important milestone in the history of strategic partnership and friendship between the peoples. This visit opened a new chapter in bilateral relations.

“Uzbekistan is eagerly prepared to host events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov — a great writer and cultural symbol of the Kyrgyz people, as well as a beloved author in Uzbekistan,” said Nazarbekov.

The Minister also mentioned that leading theaters from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are actively working on creating a joint theatrical project that will symbolize the creative collaboration of the two nations.
