The Supreme Court found that the administrative case against MY5 journalist Rukhshora Gafurova was improperly handled.

The administrative case against MY5 channel correspondent Rukhsoра Gafurova was processed in violation of procedural norms, reported the press secretary of the Supreme Court, Aziz Obidov.

The documents pertaining to the case, initiated under Article 46-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of personal data legislation), did not meet the requirements of Articles 303 and 303-1. As a result, the court returned the materials to the internal affairs department of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district for reprocessing.

Previously, Gafurova had prepared a journalistic piece about a former bank employee suspected of fraud involving consumer loans.
