В Акмолинской области активно проводятся мероприятия по предотвращению пожаров.

In 2024, the Akmolinsk region experienced 29 fires, resulting in the deaths of 10 individuals and injuries to 46 others. Already this year, there have been 6 incidents reported in the Burabay district of Akmolinsk region, leading to 5 fatalities and one injury. The majority of these tragedies are attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning.

The prosecutor's office, in collaboration with the emergency situations department, is actively conducting preventive discussions with the public aimed at fire prevention. This primarily targets residents of homes with stove heating, where carbon monoxide detection sensors are being installed. This helps to detect toxic smoke and prevent poisoning.

Fires also occur due to the explosion of gas cylinders, resulting in casualties and injuries.
