The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced an extension of its collaboration with global partners, reaching new regions and tournaments for the upcoming season. In the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, sponsorship support will cover the AFC Champions League™, AFC Women’s Champions League™, AFC Cup™, and the qualifying tournaments "Path to 26," leading to the 2026 World Cup.

As part of the partnership, special programs are planned that will allow fans to participate in key moments of the tournaments. These include:

Pre-match draw – selected fans will have the opportunity to step onto the field before the match and take part in the official ceremony alongside the referees and team captains.
Final whistle – winners of the draw will get the chance to watch the last minutes of the game from the edge of the field.

Children's program – over 100 young fans will be able to accompany players during the final match of the AFC Champions League™.

AFC Secretary General Datuk Seri Windsor John noted that strategic reforms in the tournaments are already having a long-term impact on teams and fans. He emphasized the importance of partnership support in the development of Asian football.

One of AFC's key partners remains Visa, which continues to support football tournaments in the region. The company is involved in organizing unique activations for fans and remains the official partner of the Asian qualifying tournaments for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
