Starting from March 1, Uzbekistan planned to reduce the basic consumption norm for natural gas during the heating season from 500 cubic meters to 100 cubic meters.
The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan announced that the basic norm of 500 cubic meters, set for the heating season, has been extended until April 1, 2025. Following the directive of the President of Uzbekistan, the government has prolonged the period for applying the basic consumption norm.
“In March, a drop in air temperature is expected, and on certain days, nighttime and daytime temperatures may fall below 0°C, which will be colder than usual,” the statement said.
