The organization was officially registered in October 2021; however, on February 14, 2024, a lawsuit was filed in the Specialized Inter-District Economic Court of Astana to declare the state registration invalid. The lawsuit also includes a demand for the forced liquidation of the organization.
The appeal from the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring served as the basis for the lawsuit, as reported by the Ministry of Justice. During the investigation, irreparable violations of legislation were found during the establishment of the organization, which led to the initiation of judicial liquidation of the organization.
It is worth noting that in November 2023, it became known that the founder of the charitable foundation is suspected of embezzling one and a half billion tenge collected to assist those affected by flooding. According to the financial monitoring agency, Perizat Kairat used a significant portion of the donations to purchase real estate and luxury items rather than to help those in need.
