U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Russia is deepening its cooperation with North Korea in exchange for military assistance, including the deployment of soldiers for the war in Ukraine. This is reported by BBC.
According to Antony Blinken, Moscow is expanding its collaboration with North Korea in the space sector by providing advanced satellite technologies. In return, Washington claims that Pyongyang is sending its soldiers to participate in the war against Ukraine.
During a press conference in Seoul, where Blinken is on an official visit, he pointed out that North Korea is already receiving Russian weapons and training. Furthermore, Blinken mentioned that Russia intends to share its space developments with Pyongyang, which raises particular concerns.
Earlier, Blinken also stated that in recent years, the U.S. government has had genuine concerns regarding the actions Russia might take.
