“A year ago, I was already here, also at the Digital Summit, and I was very curious to see what has changed. We all keep an eye on the news and observe the development of artificial intelligence, robotics, and computer technologies. Therefore, it was important for me to see what innovations are being presented in Kazakhstan,” he said.
Our journalist asked him if he noticed anything interesting, perhaps visually, at the event.
“Yes, for instance, there are robots that understand the Kazakh language. I asked one of them: ‘Aul, kashan baramyz?’ – and it replied: ‘Nauryz baramyz,’ meaning it can communicate and understand quite well.
There is also a robot dog that responds to commands in Kazakh. Overall, it’s very fascinating. It’s clear that technology in Kazakhstan is not stagnant. Moreover, the very fact that Kazakhstan hosts such large-scale events speaks to its leadership position in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
By the way, it’s worth noting that Kazakhstan is a three-time world champion in robotics among school students. These competitions are the LEGO League, if I’m not mistaken, or FIRST Robotics. Our schoolchildren have taken first place there three times. So we are moving forward.
Currently, Kazakhstan is, in my opinion, ranked 8th in digitalization. Specifically, in the digitalization of public services, if I’m not mistaken. But I am confident that over time we will emerge as leaders not only in this area but also in other indicators,” he responded.
According to him, undoubtedly, Kazakhstan is not just a strategically important country due to its geographical location. The state is becoming a center for culture, technology, and innovation. This is the result of thoughtful development and constant forward movement.
