The KFGD has paid out over 113 billion tenge to depositors during the liquidation of banks.

The Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund (KDF) has made payments totaling 113.5 billion tenge to depositors of liquidated banks, according to Bizmedia.kz.

Nine banks are currently undergoing liquidation in Kazakhstan, including Tengri Bank, Capital Bank Kazakhstan, Asia Credit Bank, and "Bank of Astana."

"The Fund has fully met its obligations to depositors of all banks. A total of 113.5 billion tenge has been disbursed, and the remaining 830 million tenge after the payout deadline has been transferred to the ENPF to individual depositors' accounts as voluntary pension contributions. Additionally, the Fund continues to make payments to depositors who were unable to collect their funds within the specified timeframe for valid reasons," the KFGD reported.
