In his request to the Prime Minister, he emphasized that the current environmental measures are insufficient and that radical changes are necessary.
In addition to transitioning government organizations to electric transport, he suggested converting taxis to electric as well and allowing the construction of mini-hydroelectric power stations in national parks.
Among other ideas are the elimination of eco-posts, replacing them with cameras, enhancing control over vehicle inspections, and banning the sale of catalytic converters.
In his view, all of this will help save Almaty from an ecological disaster.
