Ten Uzbek nationals, who were scheduled for deportation from the U.S. to Costa Rica, will arrive in Uzbekistan this week via the New York-Tashkent route.
On February 24, seven Uzbek nationals arrived in Uzbekistan from New York-Tashkent, who were slated for deportation to Costa Rica. Costa Rica had previously agreed to accept 200 deportees from the U.S. from countries such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and India. The spokesperson for the Uzbek Foreign Ministry stated that the U.S. informs about each deportation case.
Earlier, the U.S. deported around 300 individuals to Panama, including those from Uzbekistan.
