According to the publication, Hamas believes that Israel is demanding complete surrender, which the group still refuses to accept. Despite Hamas's insistence that Israel is demanding total capitulation, which is deemed unacceptable, some leaders within the movement are considering compromises to achieve a cessation of hostilities and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
