She shared her issue with the blogger Islam Kaparzo.
The woman was "buried" in the system in January of last year when she visited the clinic to register her grandfather's death and obtain permission for burial. According to her, she was asked to provide her grandfather's passport as well as her own, as the person responsible for the burial. An employee in the department, along with a relative, accidentally entered Oksana's name into the deceased database. As a result, all her documents – passport, tax identification number, and others – became invalid.
The situation came to light 10 months after her visit to the notary. At that time, she was unable to obtain a power of attorney because her name could not be found in the database. Consequently, she was directed to the passport office, where it was revealed that she was listed as "dead" in the system.
Following this, Oksana lost her job – she was retroactively fired because they didn't know how to pay a deceased person. Additionally, she is now unable to pay utility bills or receive alimony for her two children.
In order to restore her status in the databases, she has been forced to run around various government agencies, proving that she is alive. Appeals to the passport office, the unified window, the Ministry of Justice, and the president's portal have not yet changed her situation. According to Rudanovskaya, the employee who made this terrible mistake was aware of everything but remained silent all this time, likely out of fear of losing her job.
Today, Oksana desires only one thing – to be "resurrected" quickly so she can return to a normal life.
