The Tashkent city administration has refuted claims regarding a deputy head of the Shaykhantahur district who allegedly embezzled citizens' loan funds.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the administration of the capital's hokimiyat announced that the assistant hokim of the Shayhantahur district, who allegedly embezzled loan funds, voluntarily resigned in November of last year, as reported by a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

The press service of the agency reported that this official is absent from the structure of the district hokimiyats in Tashkent.

Information regarding the dismissal of this official has also been shared on the Telegram channel of the Shayhantahur district administration.

"We ask the media to adhere to the principles of accuracy, objectivity, and responsibility when publishing information," the city administration emphasized.

It is worth noting that it was previously reported that an assistant to the hokim in one of the neighborhoods of the Shayhantahur district misappropriated over 600 million sums by illegally obtaining loans in other people's names.
