A Chinese company is set to build a $120 million waste recycling plant.
The project will enable the daily processing of 800 tons of waste and the generation of electricity. There are plans to later increase the capacity to 4,000 tons and the investment amount to $400 million.

A waste processing plant is set to be constructed in Yangiyul, with an investment of $120 million. A corresponding memorandum of cooperation was
signed in Beijing between the Tashkent region's hokimiyat and the Chinese company Beijing China Sciences Runyu Environmental Technology Co. Ltd.
Once this project is launched, a power station that incinerates 800 tons of waste per day will begin supplying electricity to the local population.
There are plans to further expand the project, increasing capacity to 4,000 tons of safe waste incineration per day and generating electricity, which will create over 150 jobs.
It is noted that the full launch of the station will require an investment of $400 million.
