“It’s no secret that often students are prepared for participation in scientific projects and olympiads not by school teachers, but by coaches or other specialists and organizations.
So who will be awarded the prize for the students' victory—his nominal teacher, who is already receiving a salary for his work, or the one who actually prepared the student and led him to victory?” she asked.
Aimagambetov responded that this is a very important question and added that it has been discussed for quite some time.
“This concerns fairness—so that the prize goes to those educators who truly worked with the student, not just those who nominally teach him. They are the ones who should receive these one-time prize payments,” replied Askhat Aimagambetov.
