Starting February 5, the checkpoint "Gishtkuprik" will be closed for 4 months, according to the press service of the Customs Committee.
The closure is due to the completion of large-scale construction and renovation works. Plans include the dismantling of temporary buildings, landscaping of the area, and the creation of necessary infrastructure.
From February 5, 2025, the movement of citizens and vehicles through "Gishtkuprik" will be redirected to the checkpoint "Navoi," located in the Tashkent district of Tashkent region, not far from "Gishtkuprik."
To facilitate passenger convenience, the movement of freight transport at the checkpoint "Navoi" will be restricted, ensuring a comfortable passage for individuals, passenger cars, and buses.
