The dollar exchange rate in banks has surpassed 13,000 sums.

Starting from January 6, the buying rate for the dollar in banks is 12,860 – 12,940 soums, while the selling rate is 12,945 – 13,005 soums.

The new exchange rates for foreign currencies have been set by the following banks:

• KDB Bank: buying – 12,880, selling – 13,005;
• Hamkor Bank: buying – 12,900, selling – 13,000;
• Orient Finans Bank, Invest Finance Bank, Ziraat Bank: buying – 12,880, selling – 13,000 soums.

The official dollar rate set by the Central Bank (as of January 6) is 12,942.01 soums.
