Manchester City has included Khusainov in their squad for the Champions League knockout stage.

The English club "Manchester City" has included Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov in the squad for the Champions League knockout stage for the 2024/2025 season, according to ESPN reports.

The club will face Madrid's "Real" for a chance to advance to the Round of 16. The matches are scheduled for February 12 and 20, both taking place at 01:00 Tashkent time.

So far, Khusanov has played only one match – against "Chelsea" in the 23rd round of the Premier League. The Uzbek defender spent just over a half and received a yellow card.

“Abdukodir Khusanov took the field against 'Chelsea' when we had no defenders available. He had a tough five minutes, but after that, he performed well! He should be proud of achieving this at the age of 20,” — stated team captain De Bruyne after the game.
