On April 9-10, 2025, as part of the International Opera and Ballet Festival in Tashkent, the stage of the A. Navoi State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet will host a performance by the legendary choreographer Carolyn Carlson. “The Tree” carries the subtitle “Fragments of Poetics in Fire” and tells a story of love for nature, teetering on the brink of destruction, and the hope for its revival. The performance conveys the dreamy vision of Karlson, which, combined with the dancers' virtuosity, transforms into a powerful and dynamic tribute to the beauty of nature and its inevitable resurgence, much like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
