A man struck his wife with a hammer, resulting in her death.

In Tashkent, a woman passed away after her husband struck her on the head with a hammer. The court has issued a verdict against the man. This was reported in the "Millar" program.

The incident took place in the Yunusabad district of the capital. It is reported that the woman had an argument with her husband, accusing him of being unable to financially support their children.

During the trial at the Shaykhontohur district court, the prosecutor stated that the woman died due to a severe blow to the head inflicted by her husband.

“We have seven children, and we lived well. But my wife often insulted me, and after I heard her insults towards my mother, I lost control. I hit her on the head with a hammer. I remember hitting her just once. At that moment, I lost control of myself,” said the accused.

At the court session, the man expressed remorse for his actions. The court sentenced him to 10 years in prison under part 1 of article 97 (intentional homicide) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
