A new assistant has been appointed to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.

Shukhrat Ibrahimov has been appointed as the assistant to the Prime Minister and head of the reception office of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, reported the press secretary of the Prime Minister.

Prior to his appointment, Ibrahimov served as the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers' secretariat. He replaces Sarvar Ashurov in this position, who was relieved of his duties by the relevant government decree.
