The public foundation affiliated with the parliament will launch a program to assist organizations affected by the freeze on USAID grants.

Due to the "freeze" on funding for USAID grant programs by the new U.S. administration, several civil society institutions in Uzbekistan have had their projects suspended.

The director of the Public Fund for Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Parliament, Otabek Khusanov, stated that conditions will be created to continue such projects.

According to him, the fund is prepared to launch a separate program in 2025 for organizations that have encountered difficulties due to the suspension of foreign grants.
