The President emphasized the necessity of ensuring continuous growth, focused on scientific approaches in the development of various sectors. In Almalyk, the training of specialists has already been established, including the opening of branches of the Tashkent State Technical University and the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. Recently, the AGMK Engineering School was created, which the President began his visit to.

At this school, based on German experience, 480 engineers will be trained annually, and thousands of employees will enhance their qualifications. The curriculum has been developed using advanced methodologies from the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology in Germany, as well as companies "GP Günter Papenburg AG" and "Aurubis AG". Training is conducted with the participation of foreign specialists, and the school is equipped with modern facilities for practical classes in the fields of mechanics, metallurgy, automation, mineral processing, and energy.

The President highlighted the importance of digitizing all processes within the enterprise and stressed the necessity of ongoing professional development for specialists. He also pointed out the connection between theory and practice in the educational process.

Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that as part of the further development of engineering schools in the country, 10 higher engineering schools have already been established. These institutions will collaborate with industrial partners to prepare targeted personnel in in-demand fields, and the school's instructors will undergo internships at leading foreign universities.

Thus, the government's attention to workforce development and production modernization in Almalyk confirms a strategic approach to the long-term development of the industry and economy of the region.
