Precipitation and frost. What weather can Uzbekistan residents expect this weekend?

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the weather in Uzbekistan over the weekend will remain cool, with occasional precipitation and stronger winds expected, along with the possibility of fog. While temperatures will rise slightly, the northwestern regions of the republic are anticipated to experience a drop in temperature once again, reports a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

According to Uzhydromet's forecasts, relatively cold weather will persist across Uzbekistan today. The daytime temperature will range from 3 to 8 degrees Celsius.

In Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, there may be some snowfall; light precipitation in the form of rain and snow is possible in the Bukhara and Navoi regions. The rest of the republic will remain dry.

On Saturday, March 1, most of the republic will experience dry conditions, with only scattered rain and snow expected in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region.

On Sunday, March 2, precipitation is anticipated across most regions of the republic, except for the Fergana Valley. Rainfall may occur in the central regions and the south of the republic in the afternoon.

Air temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will rise by 2 to 3 degrees in most areas, but will still remain below normal values.

In the northwestern and desert areas of the republic, due to the influx of a new wave of cold air, temperatures will gradually decrease, reaching 7 to 12 degrees below zero at night in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, and during the day, temperatures will range from -2 to +3 degrees.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, nighttime temperatures will be between -2 degrees and +3 degrees, with daytime temperatures ranging from 0 to +5 degrees.

Fog is possible in certain areas of the republic.

Winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, with gusts reaching 15 to 20 meters per second on February 28 and March 2 in some locations.

In Tashkent, on February 28 and March 1-2, predominantly dry weather is expected, with possible precipitation in the evening of March 2 accompanied by wind gusts of 10-12 meters per second. Temperatures will be 6 to 8 degrees on February 28, and 8 to 10 degrees on March 1-2. The prevailing temperature at night will be between -1 degree and +2 degrees.
