Corporate Product of Otbasy Bank
Otbasy Bank already offers an effective solution — the "Corporate" product. Since 2019, it has assisted over 1,000 employees from various sectors, including factory workers, energy specialists, miners, and oil workers, in acquiring housing. More than 5.6 billion tenge has been allocated for these purposes, enabling housing issues to be addressed without tapping into the state budget.
The corporate product is implemented in cities such as Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, and others. Among its partners are major enterprises like "Karazhanbasmunay," Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), as well as medical and construction companies.
Collaboration Options with the Bank
- Loans through enterprises.
Companies allocate funds to the bank, which offers preferential loans to employees at rates starting from 5% per annum. The down payment can be zero, and the loan term can extend up to 19 years. - Subsidies for down payments.
The organization contributes 50% of the loan amount on behalf of the employee, enabling them to secure the loan immediately. - Rent-to-own.
The employer provides housing, while the employee pays a nominal rent and saves for the down payment. After accumulating 50% of the property's value, the bank offers the remaining amount on favorable terms.
Implementation Examples
- Karaganda Region: In 2022–2023, miners and metallurgists working at AO "Qarmet" purchased 229 apartments with the help of 3.2 billion tenge allocated for this initiative.
- East Kazakhstan: As part of the "Shyghys mamany" project, 17 specialists in thermal energy received housing support from the akimat and the bank.
Otbasy Bank actively collaborates with enterprises like "Bogatyry Komir" and "Kazphosphate," and also offers the "Armanğa jol" tool, which allows employees to automatically transfer a portion of their salary to a deposit for accumulating a down payment.
The Chairperson of the Board of Otbasy Bank, Lyazzat Ibragimova, highlighted that such measures not only address housing issues but also help retain valuable personnel, preventing their outflow from the regions.
