The system was tested at Secondary School No. 25 in Petropavlovsk, where it identified two instances of conflict behavior over several months.
Currently, the artificial intelligence system is also in place at four other schools and one kindergarten.
According to the education department, "smart" cameras are planned to be installed in an additional 35 educational institutions, which will require about 70 million tenge.
At present, surveillance systems are already operational in more than 300 schools in the region.
