In September 2022, at the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the "National Fund for Children" project was launched. This initiative aims to ensure the well-being of future generations. The goal of this program is to provide every child with a share of the nation’s wealth. A priority of the state policy is the welfare of the younger generation, and today, Kazakh families receive state support in raising children from birth until they embark on independent living.

Starting in 2024, funds will be credited to the accounts of children under 18 from the National Fund. In 2024, this project included children born between 2006 and 2023, totaling 6,919,131 individuals. Each child received $100.52. The total amount distributed was $695.5 million.

In 2025, the program will include children born from 2007 to 2024, totaling 6,921,035 individuals, with each child under 18 receiving $129.38. The total amount distributed will be nearly $900 million.
