According to him, the current control applies to cases where an individual receives more than 100 payments from different senders within three months, and the total amount of transfers exceeds 255,000 tenge.
In the future, this limit is expected to be raised to 1.02 million tenge (approximately 333,000 tenge per month). If the transfers exceed this threshold, banks will report such clients, after which tax authorities will investigate their activities.
Birzhanov noted that this decision was made in collaboration with the National Bank. Work is currently underway for its technical implementation. It is anticipated that the changes will take effect in the near future.
