In his message, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, stated: “Dear compatriots! I congratulate you on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan!… For our people, religion and traditions are inseparable concepts that complement each other, calling for goodness and creation. It is very symbolic that this year the start of the month of Ramadan coincides with the Day of Gratitude.”
The President emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan is a special time in the spiritual life of the nation. During the fasting days of Ramadan, timeless values such as patience and humility, compassion and mercy come to the forefront. People assist those in need and engage in charitable activities, stemming from the humanitarian ideals of Islam. The profound and meaningful Month of Ramadan and the Day of Gratitude contribute to the strengthening of unity among the people of Kazakhstan.
