C-check (C-check) is a form of maintenance that is more complex than previous checks and is performed every 15 to 24 months or after 7,500 flight hours. It is subdivided into C1, C2, C4, C6, and C8. To carry out this inspection, the aircraft must be taken out of service for up to two weeks, and it requires a significant amount of space—typically in a large airport hangar.
