The telecommunications market in Uzbekistan has experienced a growth of 13.5%.

The volume of telecommunications services in Uzbekistan from January to October 2024 reached 16.9 trillion sums, which is 13.5% higher compared to the same period last year, reported the Statistical Agency of Uzbekistan.

During the ten months, telecommunications accounted for 2.6% of the total volume of services provided in the country.

Since 2020, the telecommunications market volume has doubled. However, in January – October 2024, the growth rate was the lowest in the past five years. According to the Statistical Agency, the largest increase in the telecommunications market was recorded in 2022, when from January to October, the market for such services grew by 21%.
