In Uzbekistan, a daytime care service for children with disabilities aged 3 to 18 will be established as part of a public-private partnership. This is reported by the Ministry of Justice, referencing a presidential decree.
The system will begin operating in a pilot mode starting March 1 in Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Tashkent regions, and Tashkent city. It is planned to expand to all regions of the country by October 1.
Admission to the daytime care centers will be conducted through a social contract with parents and based on the conclusion of a psychological-medical-pedagogical commission.
A subsidy system will be introduced for entrepreneurs providing daytime care services:
Additionally, for children from low-income families, a payment of 30% of the total subsidy amount will be provided.
