Starting from July 1, 2025, electronic forms of identity documents will be officially recognized. This is outlined in the government resolution aimed at implementing the "social card" system as part of social support for the population.

According to the document, unified digital services for personal documents will be introduced within the interdepartmental integration platform of the "Digital Government" system.

As clarified by the Unified Interactive Portal of State Services, digital (electronic) forms of identity documents, driver’s licenses, and other documents will now be officially recognized on the my.gov.uz platform.

A feature will be created to utilize these digital services on my.gov.uz, and they will be mandatory for acceptance within Uzbekistan. The list includes the following documents:

  • Biometric passport of a citizen of Uzbekistan;
  • ID card of a citizen of Uzbekistan;
  • Driver’s license;
  • Birth certificate;
  • Marriage certificate;
  • Divorce certificate;
  • Vehicle registration certificate (technical passport, voucher);
  • Pension certificate (subsidy);
  • Certificate of residence for stateless persons (ID card);
  • Disability certificate;
  • Mandatory vehicle insurance policy (civil liability insurance);
  • Official state document confirming higher, secondary specialized, or vocational education;
  • Student ID;
  • Certificate of registration as an individual entrepreneur;
  • Certificate of registration as self-employed;
  • Cadastral passport of the real estate object;
  • Power of attorney authorizing another person to drive a personal vehicle.

Paper copies of these documents will not be required in banks, notary offices, airports for domestic flights, on trains traveling through Uzbekistan, as well as in government, corporate, and other organizations that require the presentation of relevant documents, including electronic services and citizen receptions.
