The "Achichuk" salad has made it onto the list of the world's worst dishes.

The gastronomic encyclopedia TasteAtlas published a new ranking of the 100 worst dishes in the world, which includes the salad "Achichuk." It took the 42nd spot in the list.

According to experts, this fresh spring salad made from tomatoes, onions, and peppers is rated worse than duck head, two types of blood pudding, and bacon coated in chocolate. Notably, the salad was rated even lower than the unusual Filipino delicacy of a hard-boiled embryo in a duck egg.

At the top of the anti-ranking were the blood pancakes Blodplättar from Sweden and Finnish blood dumplings.

The TasteAtlas TOP-100 worst dishes is a ranking published annually by the online guide to gastronomic tourism. The TasteAtlas magazine features authentic recipes, reviews from culinary critics, and research articles about popular ingredients and dishes.
