The most expensive house in Germany, a villa previously visited by Alisher Usmanov, is for sale at a price of 25 million euros.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, a villa frequented by Russian billionaire of Uzbek descent Alisher Usmanov, located by Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria, Germany, is up for sale due to the debts of the managing company. The estimated price of the property is set at 25 million euros, making it the most expensive residential listing currently available in Germany, reports Podrobno.uz correspondent.
Самая дорогая вилла в Германии, где останавливался Алишер Усманов, выставлена на продажу за 25 миллионов евро.

According to the publication Merkur, since 2011, the management of the villa and the surrounding estate has been handled by Tegernsee (IOM) Limited, a company registered on the Isle of Man. Usmanov frequently visited this estate, reportedly renting the villa for €77,000 per week. However, following the European Union's sanctions against the billionaire due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the villa has remained vacant.

The company Tegernsee (IOM) Limited was declared insolvent, and its assets, primarily real estate, are set to be sold at the decision of the creditors.

The villa, covering an area of 735 square meters, is situated on a 4,700 square meter plot by an alpine lake in the municipality of Rottach-Egern. The estate also features a sauna, a swimming pool, and a staff house.

The asking price of €25 million for the villa has set a new record for real estate prices in Germany, surpassing the previous record of €15.5 million for a house on the island of Sylt.

The New York Times previously reported that Usmanov owned three properties in Rottach-Egern. In October 2023, German law enforcement conducted searches at several properties around Munich, including the villa in Rottach-Egern. As a result of the searches, five vehicles and other valuable items were seized.

However, a month later, the district court of Frankfurt am Main ruled that the seizure of documents and property taken from the villa, as well as from the yacht Dilbar (valued at $588 million) in Hamburg and other locations, was unlawful.
