Штрафы и увеличенные налоги: как в Узбекистане будут наказывать за неэффективное использование земельных ресурсов.

This is stated in the presidential decree dated December 30, 2024.

According to the document, if sowing activities are not conducted or if production is not grown at the edges of the fields by April 1 (except in cases of force majeure), farmers will face strict penalties.

Key measures include the following provisions:

  • Agricultural producers on all agricultural lands will be required to pay a land tax at triple the rate.

  • Additionally, funding from the State Agricultural Support Fund, allocated through credit resources, will be suspended for those who fail to meet the requirements.

  • For tenants who have subleased the edges of the fields, a fine may be imposed that could reach ten times the basic calculated amount.

It is worth noting that, according to the same decree, vegetable gardens will begin to be established near multi-story buildings and on internal streets of neighborhoods in Uzbekistan.
