The court reduced the sentence of a man who criticized a gas station, allowing him to return home.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz. The court has concluded its review of the appeal filed by Gayrat Dustov, who was sentenced to 15 days in custody for his vehement criticism of the country's fuel and energy sector. The initial ruling has been partially overturned. The man has been released from the courtroom.
Суд снизил наказание мужчине, который раскритиковал заправочную станцию. Его отпустили домой.

This was reported by the defendant's lawyers. They were hopeful for justice and that the court would take into account their client's health condition.

It should be noted that the appeal hearing for the controversial man from the gas station began just a few hours later, but was subsequently halted entirely as the defendant fell ill. An ambulance had to be called. When asked if he had been tortured, he responded negatively.

The hearing resumed after the man's condition improved. Dustov expressed remorse for his actions. The court partially granted the lawyers' appeal and reduced the term of administrative detention to eight days.
