The Central Bank intends to limit the number of bank cards that one individual can possess.

As reported by the Deputy Chairman of the regulator, Behzod Khammraev, the current legislation of the country does not set a limit on the number of cards that can be issued for a single passport. In some cases, citizens acquire dozens, and sometimes even hundreds of cards, which is often exploited by fraudsters in criminal schemes.

The Central Bank intends to thoroughly investigate this matter to determine optimal regulatory measures. There is currently no information regarding the exact limit on the number of cards per person.
