Fog has disrupted operations at three airports in Uzbekistan.

A thick fog has enveloped Nukus, Urgench, and Fergana since early morning. Due to adverse weather conditions, temporary restrictions have been implemented at airports regarding the arrival and departure of aircraft.

For instance, flight HY-9638 operated by Uzbekistan Airways from Saint Petersburg to Urgench landed at 06:04 at a reserve airfield in Bukhara. Flights HY-51/52 on the Tashkent – Urgench / Urgench – Tashkent route are experiencing delays. Preliminary information indicates that the flight will depart from Tashkent to Urgench at 12:00. The return flight has tentatively been rescheduled to 14:15.

The Tashkent – Nukus flight is also delayed due to fog at the destination city until 11:30 local time.

Additionally, restrictions on the arrival of aircraft have been imposed at Fergana Airport due to adverse weather conditions. The flight from Tashkent to Fergana has been tentatively rescheduled to 11:20 local time. However, the airport in Fergana is operating normally for the departure of aircraft.

UPD: The restrictions on the arrival of aircraft at Fergana International Airport have been lifted. The airport is operating as usual.
