Previously, the airline was subjected to sanctions from the European Union and was involved in a lawsuit with the Armenian company Aquila Technics over engine supplies.
It is known that Utair received approval for flights on the Tyumen – Samarkand route with a frequency of three times a week last year. At that time, the carrier also planned to launch flights from Surgut to Fergana, but the future of these routes now remains uncertain.
