Membership in the International Confederation of Trade Unions (ICTU) will be a significant step towards further enhancing the work of trade unions in Uzbekistan, improving working conditions, and protecting workers' rights. It will also strengthen the country's position on the global stage and bolster its image in the international labor arena.

Let us remind you that the application for the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan to join the International Confederation of Trade Unions was submitted back in 2014. In 2015, it became an associated member.
