For citizens of Uzbekistan, a visa-free regime is in effect in 32 countries, while a visa on arrival can be obtained in 46 states, and 120 countries require a visa.
In comparison, at the end of 2023, Uzbekistan ranked 70th, allowing visa-free entry to 27 countries, visa on arrival in 47, and requiring a visa for 124 countries. The improvement in rankings was made possible by agreements on visa-free travel with the UAE, Thailand, Oman, Pakistan, and an arrangement with China.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan leads (52nd place, 46 countries with visa-free entry). Kyrgyzstan holds the same position as Uzbekistan (68th place, 32 countries), Tajikistan is in 72nd place (27 countries), while Turkmenistan is ranked 76th (18 countries).
As for Russia, it occupies the 38th position, offering its citizens visa-free entry to 84 countries and a visa on arrival in 49 countries.
The United Arab Emirates remains at the top of the ranking, followed by Spain and a group of 14 European countries, including Finland, France, and Germany. The last position is held by Syria, whose passport offers visa-free access to only nine countries worldwide.
We remind you that starting next year, Uzbeks can submit online applications for a long-term national visa through the German Foreign Ministry's electronic portal.
Additionally, from January 1, 2025, all Thai embassies and consulates abroad will begin providing electronic visa services.
