In the latest ranking of the strongest armies in the world, published by the American magazine U.S. News and World Report, Uzbekistan secured the 19th position. This is the best result among Central Asian countries. Our northern neighbor, Kazakhstan, is ranked 22nd.
Russia remained the leader of the ranking, as it was last year. The United States is in second place, followed by Israel in third.
The top ten strongest armies also include China, South Korea, Iran, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Germany, and Turkey.
