Uzbekistan has concluded bilateral negotiations with China regarding its accession to the World Trade Organization. This was reported by the special representative of the president for WTO matters, Azizbek Urunov.
Azizbek Urunov described the recent negotiations as "brief but productive." He expressed gratitude to Deputy Minister of Trade Li Fei and Director of the Department Li Defeng.
"The end of the year is very busy for Uzbekistan in the process of joining the World Trade Organization — negotiations have been completed with two of the world's largest trading players — the USA and China. Negotiations with 22 countries have been finalized, and only a few remain," - wrote Azizbek Urunov.
It is worth noting that earlier, after 14 months, Uzbekistan completed negotiations with the USA regarding its accession to the World Trade Organization.
