A man from Uzbekistan, who was wanted internationally, has been apprehended in Kazakhstan.

A citizen of Uzbekistan, who was wanted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, was apprehended at the railway checkpoint "Zhaisani."

"In 2013, the suspect, along with others, organized an international drug trafficking operation. During an attempt to enter Moldova, he was found to possess 46 grams of heroin. Currently, the man has been placed in a temporary detention facility," – reported the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Aktobe Region.

The man is currently held in a temporary detention facility.
