According to the press service of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the tragedy occurred due to injuries sustained by an employee during work. The woman from Andijan, who lost her husband, reached out to the regional office of the agency requesting assistance in obtaining a one-time pension and monthly payments from the company.
The office, in collaboration with the State Labor Inspectorate, reviewed the appeal and filed a lawsuit. The court granted the request and ordered the defendant to pay compensation in the amount of 485 million 760 thousand sums.
