These measures are outlined in the draft state program for 2025.
Among other plans:
the establishment of industrial zones in Samarkand and Fergana regions for the production of eco-friendly products;
the implementation of the ESG principle in the development of corporate programs as part of the transformation of large enterprises;
the practice of publishing ESG reports for at least five major industrial enterprises;
achieving an ESG rating for AGMK, NGMK, "Uzbekneftegaz", Uzbekistan Airports, and Uzbekistan Airways;
the introduction of incentives for enterprises with a significant environmental impact – for the installation of air monitoring stations, they will receive up to 50% reimbursement for environmental damage compensation payments and be exempted from any debts related to it, while for the installation of dust collectors, gas, and water filters, they may receive up to 70% reimbursement of compensation payments.
